2.0 Meme Fest: Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar Starrer Film"s Trailer Takes Internet Into Frenzy; Check Funny Tweets

The trailer of the much-anticipated film starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 released on Saturday, November 3. The film’s trailer left the audience awe-struck and Akshay Kumar was hailed for his performance and dialogue delivery as an evil crow. Not only has this but Rajnikanth’s dialogue ‘I will set your screens on fire’ has also gone viral. However, the creative minds of the internet have now targeted 2.0 trailer and converted two scenes from the clip into hilarious memes. One scene features Akshay Kumar as the evil crow and the other features Rajinikanth where their own Chitti shoots with several guns in a stadium.

In the memes, Twitterati has compared the scenes to day-to-day work while others compared memes with Uttar Pradesh Police, the festival Diwali, Vijay Mallaya among others.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero trailer became the target of the internet memes. Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif’s kissing scene has been compared to Game of Thrones where Khaleesi kisses Tyrion. King Khan’s dialogue ‘Lena Hai Hume’ also became the target of hilarious memes. One user compared the dialogue with Netflix and its unending relationship with Radhika Apte.

The trailer shows that how technology has targeted us in 2018 and then Akshay Kumar makes an entry showing his evil crow look. It also establishes that our very own Robot Chitti will be fighting back the danger. 2.0 is all about Rajnikanth versus Akshay Kumar.

2.0 is the first film in the history of cinema to have introduced the 4D sound technology. For this, separate speakers have been installed below the seats in theatres. At the grand trailer launch of the film, the Oscar Award-winning sound designer revealed that he worked constantly for two years with Shankar on the film to bring out the 4D sound. He called it the “gift of Indian cinema to the world”.

The trailer of 2.0 was one of the most anticipated videos of the year. The film is slated to hit the screens on November 29 after being postponed thrice. At the trailer launch of the film, music composer AR Rahman said that Rajinikanth is not just his favourite actor but also an inspiration to him and he has been telling this to people for the last 10 years.
