Taking to Twitter during the broadcast, one angry viewer even said the young couple"s wedding was "faker than [professional] wrestling".

During the episode, "mother-in-law from hell" Fatima watched through gritted teeth as her son Seyat said "I do" and branded the occasion the "worst day of her life".

She even said she wanted to "slap" Jess, who she strongly dislikes, in a remark which particularly angered viewers.

However, the way the weddings were presented didn"t sit well with some fans.

"Funny editing during Jess" vows," one viewer tweeted, suggesting that Fatima"s reaction shots may have been over-emphasised for dramatic effect.

Another claimed viewers were "suckers" for believing the "dramatic, fake edits" which showed Fatima fuming as her teenage son got married.

"The show would be heaps better without the fake proposals": Earlier in the season, fans also expressed their disapproval at the scenes which showed the couples getting engaged

One eagle-eyed fan also noticed the unusual positioning of the couple during the ceremony.

"Why are Seyat and Jess facing the crowds as opposed to each other or the celebrant?" a Twitter user asked.

Earlier in the season, fans also expressed their disapproval at the scenes which showed the couples getting engaged.

"The show would be heaps better without the fake proposals," one critic tweeted.
