Ireland weather forecast: Hilarious pictures show cows making the most of sunshine as heatwave continues
Life was a beach for cows across the country as they revelled in the glorious Irish sunshine.
Dozens of cows in Co Sligo lapped up the sun on edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
They were pictured sunbathing on Mullaghmore Beach in the county, as the heatwave continued.
Meanwhile, cows in Cavan couldn"t resist going for a dip themselves.
One cow on John Tilson’s farm in the Gartnaskill area of the county found his way into the paddling pool while others looked on.
Sunlovers and cows alike basked in the heat once again as Ireland recorded a top temperature of 28C - making it hotter than Moo-rocco.
However, the sun was too much for some animals in Co Cork as they hid under a derelict bridge.
Some cows took shelter under the remains of a railway bridge in the reservoir at Dooniskey.
Met Eireann have issued a nationwide advisory and say that no significant rain is expected for at least another 10 days.
The national forecaster said: "The mostly dry and warm weather will continue across Ireland for the rest of this week and through next week as well, thus exacerbating drought conditions."
