Avengers star Sebastian Stan can"t say the word "meme"

You may have noticed that a little film called Avengers: Infinity War is out. It’s kind of a big deal. 


Any film that is ten years in the making is bound to attract a lot of fans and we all know what modern-day fans want; that’s right, memes. 


Almost all of the Marvel characters have had their fair share of memes but, for some reason, the internet really loves memes of Bucky – aka The Winter Soldier.







Yet, as you can see in the above interview with The Independent, Sebastian Stan, the actor who plays Bucky, can’t quite grasp the correct pronunciation of the word ‘meme’.


“Me-mes! What on Earth does that mean?”


No, Bucky! Please don’t attack us with your metal arm given to you by Soviets after you fell off of a train, who then brainwashed you into trying to kill your best friend.


Incidentally, this reminds us of the time TOWIE star Gemma Collins couldn’t say memes either.
